HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER?
At Kennesaw State's Chapter of Alpha Pi Mu, you must be invited. Eligibility is based on juniors in the top 20% of their class or seniors in the top 33% of their class majoring in Industrial Engineers at KSU. Once you are invited, you must complete the national organization’s registration form and pay a one-time initiation fee of $65. $45 of this fee is paid to the national Alpha Pi Mu organization for a life-time membership, and the remaining $20 stays with the Kennesaw State University chapter to cover chapter expenses.
HOW OFTEN DOES THE CHAPTER MEET?
Typically, there are monthly general body meetings a semester. Throughout the semester, there can be additional activities and events like plant tours, speakers, volunteering, and other opportunities.
HOW DO I BECOME AN OFFICER?
Any member is allowed to apply for an officer position every year. Be sure to let the current president know of your interest in becoming an officer and which executive position you'd like to run for. Elections will typically be held sometime during the spring semester.
